For further information please go to: www.baybuildinggroup.com.auAbout The RoleAlongside our construction teams, the Restoration Technician is responsible for builders cleans as well as technical restoration, cleaning and treatment, working closely with supervisors and administration teams. It is predominantly a multi-site based role, responsible for all site based cleanups, dealing with customers, utilising specialised equipment and some power tools. Tasks Include:Attend site and take photos for jobs that either damaged by water, fire or mouldPrepare & present damage, inspection & inventory list reports for insurersComplete inventory of all contents items as directed by the insurance company and determine if restorableContents packing and relocation if required to storage facility or otherwise suitable locationObtain authority to dispose from Insured and Insurance company and then dispose of any non-restorable items (via office skip or local tip)Conduct any initial make-safe works such as extracting water and installing drying equipment such as pumps, de-humidifiers, air-movers and fansMonitor ongoing drying of property and conduct moisture readingsMould cleaning and fire wash down of relevant areas using chemicals including steam-cleaning of carpets, couch and wallsLiaise with internal Project Coordinators as well as customers, subcontractors and clients with any SOW or report related queriesConduct risk assessments on the potential high risk and hazardous components of each project QualificationsFull Drivers License and White CardHave a current Working with Children Check and police check (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)Key Skills & Attributes:Demonstrated history and experience within the cleaning and/or building industry is highly desirableProven track record of project delivery across multiple filesAbility to work hard and quicklyBeing able to work with people across various levelsCustomer service skills and good communication skills are essential as this role will be onsite dealing with both internal and external stakeholdersMost importantly a strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learnWhy join us?
