We are now looking for a Construction Manager to lead, mentor, and inspire our estimating and delivery teams in Victoria. This is a hands-on role, overseeing multiple projectsâsmall, medium, and large domestic and commercial construction repairsâensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor the construction team to deliver detailed scopes of work and accurate budgets for tenders.
- Oversee project scheduling and manage multiple site teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Drive WHS and safety compliance across all projects in collaboration with the BBS WHS team.
- Manage contractors and suppliers to meet company standards, purchase orders, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure projects remain profitable while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate closely with the State Operations Manager and company Directors on project strategy and delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing construction teams and multiple projects.
- Solid background in medium to large domestic and commercial construction repairs.
- Strong experience in estimating, budget management, and delivering building repairs.
- Confidence managing stakeholders, including property owners, clients, and insurers.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, WHS requirements, permits, and inspections.
- Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
- Understanding of relevant Building Codes and Australian Standards.
