Operating nationally, for 35+ years we have specialised in repairs to domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact, and malicious damage. About The RoleThe Estimating Lead role is considered an integral role will head a team of Estimators whose purpose is to estimate repairs for multiple, small to medium domestic and construction repairs. The Estimating Leader will direct the team’s activities, monitor progress against objectives, build skills and knowledge within the team and promote a culture of inclusion. The Estimating Lead will have multiple projects under their management and is ultimately responsible for the completion of all estimations within the regulations outlined by the relevant building authority, instructions outlined by Insurer / Client and within specified timeframes. About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Key Skills and Qualifications;

  • Proven skills in construction estimating for building repairs to both domestic and commercial properties
  • Supervisor License will be highly regarded – Medium Rise or Open
  • Ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of the construction process from concept to handover and WHS requirements
  • Ability to interpret plans and engineers’ drawings
  • Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards
