Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in high volume administration or call centre
  • Experience in managing and delegating workflow
  • Experience in managing various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of insurance industry and construction methodology highly desirable

Capabilities and Behaviours

  • Show initiative, adaptability and possess problem solving abilities
  • Demonstrate effective communication both written and verbal
  • Willing and able to handle complex claims and escalations
  • Remain in control when dealing with difficult situations or changing tasks

Key activities (include but are not limited to the following):

  • Answering large volume of incoming calls from clients, property owners and trades
  • Taking detailed messages and diverting calls to office and site based staff
  • Updating ongoing notes to Internal and Client systems
  • Registering new claims / data entry
  • Efficiently managing estimator bookings to maximise coverage
  • Provide administration support to Project Coordinators
  • Liaising with the insured and the clients over the phone at all stages of the claim and repair process
  • Preparing client documentation when required
