For more than 30 years we have specialised in repairs to domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact and malicious damage.About the Role:The Accounts Assistant role is to provide financial and administrative services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate operations within the Corporate Accounts Team.The Accounts Assistant primary tasks will to assist in providing strong support in payroll processing as well as assisting in the accounts payable functions.Key Responsibilities:Payroll processing and administrative tasks which includes processing of time-sheets, processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls and maintaining employee recordsAddress all other payroll queries and provide payroll information to both internal and external stakeholders as required in a timely mannerProviding assistance to Accounts Payable, including processing creditor payments, credit card reconciliation and processing invoicesAssisting with Month end dutiesAd-hoc administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and archivingCapabilities & Behaviours:Attention to detail and high level of accuracyStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management skillsAn intermediate level of computer literacyAnalytical and problem solving skillsKnowledge & ExperiencePayroll experience is preferableProven experience in accounts functionsProficient in relevant computer applications; Microsoft Excel, Outlook, One Note and Office 55000 AUD Australia - VIC Melbourne - All locations Bayside & South Eastern Suburbs Bentleigh East 3165

About the Role:

The Accounts Assistant role is to provide financial and administrative services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate operations within the Corporate Accounts Team.

  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and archiving

Knowledge & Experience

  • Payroll experience is preferable
  • Proven experience in accounts functions
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications; Microsoft Excel, Outlook, One Note and Office
